[Bug] App launcher transparent background

I'm running Sailfish 3.0.1.11 on a Xperia X. Since the last update, the app launcher background is transparent with a blur effect. This is nice, but I found a small graphical inconsistency: when opening the app launcher a dezoom effect occurs on the home screen for the already opened apps. However, the blur effect of the background is based on the same home screen but without the dezoom effect, as if the blur effect was not a dynamic one. Idem on a video where it's using the frame played when first dragging the launcher but not updating the background with the updated video frames.

Your right. It is a nice effort from Jolla team to improve the launcher estetic instead of the previous solid black background but it will need fine tuning. However try the launcher combined patch. It give you the choice use either the highlight color , no highlight (black) or the background really transparent with control on the opacity/bluriness to your liking. image description

no need for a screenshot application, just press the volume + and volume - at the same time and a screenshot is taken.

Yea I know but the way my vol keys are placed vs screen size of my Onyx and the semy swipe up for the launcher . The screen shot app gave me a better result instead of trying 3 to 4 time.

ahh, fair play @didilalala - I did not take into account the different devices used by others.Admittedly, it does take a little practice to get both '+' and '-' pushed together.

I installed the launcher combined patch and it works pretty well, especially with dynamic content behind the launcher. However, there is no blur effect. I don't know if it's a QT limitation or to save battery life, but it seems the blur effect uses a buffered/cached picture of the background. And a wrong one here (app tiles without dezoom). A correction by sailors would polish this new visual effect. Ideally, dealing with blur of dynamic background would be awesome !
