Hello,

I'm going to buy Xperia XA2 Ultra and give my current XA2 to my brother.

So I need to come back to Android (I installed Sailfish OS already).

How to come back to Android? and how to clean the phone completly from Sailfish system / files?

I haven't found any tutorial or information.

Thank you

Alex

XperiFirm ~ Xperia Firmware Downloader

Newflasher (Xperia command line flasher)

or

The flash tool for Xperia™ is actually called Emma. Previously used. But more than six months does not work on my system. At start gives an error: update failed! Download and run the new installation package. Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help.

I used Emma from Sony. Bear in mind that you need Windows OS to use it https://developer.sony.com/develop/open-devices/get-started/flash-tool/download-flash-tool/

If you have a TWRP backup, you can restore it and should work fine, but, you have to format /data, (not just wipe - use "format data partition" option), because it's a different filesystem type.

Worked for me...
