Recently they posted guidelines about creating icon for your app. So i thought that may be they should create guidelines for application covers too. Or go even further and enforce some kind of policy when accepting app in harbour. Atm, for me, covers are hardly distinguishable and it's really annoying. Most of the time i find myself looking at cover actions and they are really small. So i propose may be we could help Jolla to create such guidelines. Post your thoughts here and hope someone from Jolla read it someday :)

Some guidelines would be good. However I don't think it would be a good idea to enforce anything like that at harbour level.

Keep the developers free - even if they want to develop crappy designs :-)

well, yes :) enforcing is a little bit too much

Duplicate of that: https://together.jolla.com/question/1853/suggestion-app-cover-design-guideline-transparent-symbol/

And anyway I think that it's up to the developer to make his app appealing if he wants users to use it. There are two easy ways: use the Silica CoverPlaceholder component to put the name and the app icon, or like the Email app, take a big white logo and put it on the cover with an opacity of 0.1. I've tested, the result is pretty cool.

well, i don't think it's duplicate. The other post is about transparent sign, which i don't like that too much, because atm it's too transparent, it's not "visually friendly"
