Dear Jolla Community,

I am a new comer, and i am very interested in SailFish OS, but sadly do not know how to test it or run it.

I was wondering if some could guide me to a way to run the OS on a virtual machine, thus i can test it and have a try.

I really want to try this interesting OS. I like the direction the OS is going.

Really appreciate the help in advance.

Take a look at here https://sailfishos.org/wiki/Application_Development#Software_Development_Kit. This is installation of Sailfish SDK. You can also use the emulator to sort of "test" the Sailfish. Just install the packages required and try to do "myfirstapp" for instance.

Here's direct link to the "myfirstapp" part: https://sailfishos.org/wiki/Application_SDK_Your_First_App
