Return silent function to the lock screen

It's nice that we have silent function back but why did you incorporate it into the top menu and not to the lock screen?
I used this function e.g. when I come to work in the morning or when I go for meeting and for that I really don't need to unlock the phone, go to the top menu and tap on the function. It's needlessly complicated.
In lock screen you just need to use pulley menu which is much faster a cleaner solution and it doesn't impact privacy as you are only silencing the sound.
Can you please return this feature to the lock screen?

I have Silent switch enabled in Top menu and I can toggle it from Lock screen. I don't have to unlock rhe phone just pull down the Top menu. Or did I misunderstood the question. I have Xperia X and 3.0.2.8.

Nope, You understood correctly. I didn't realise that you don't need to unlock the phone to enter top menu as I'm not using it.
But still the silent function was working in the SFOS 2.X and I was hoping that they put it back to lock screen.

You can also open the top menu in the lock screen with a wipe down gesture (add the silent button there), as described in @kaappikello's comment. And you can also open the top menu by pressing and holding the on/off button.

Thanks, I didn't know about the on/off button.
Proposed actions are better then unlocking the phone but I liked the way how it used to work in the lock screen and I don't understand why Jolla removed it.
