How are the Android icons managed on the XA2?

It looks like they get overwritten as the Android runtime starts (at least that's what an user reported to me). Does anyone have more info on the topic?

I'm talking about the icons placed under /var/lib/apkd

I just tested out of curiosity, and no, they don't get overwritten ...

But it's true, can't see any android icons in var/lib/apkd of my AX2 dual sim phone ... instead of in Experia X they are there.
