Updated today from Android Store and it fails to start. Force stopped, cleared cache and data, uninstalled and reinstalled. No luck. Messenger Lite works though.

My version was a little old and the store said that I could not upgrade due to a signature mismatch. So I deleted the installed version and reinstalled the latest version. Then I had the same problem, it simply crashed/disappeared on startup. I deleted it again, reinstalled it and I did some other installs and reboots and now it seems to be working.

On the other hand, FB had exactly the same issue (signature mismatch) and deleted/reinstalled and has not recovered. It simply explodes on startup.

Installed Messenger again after using Lite and now it works. Strange, maybe FB has fixed something or the moon is just in the correct position.
