First of all great update Jolla!

Is it just me, or did Jolla finaly improve the Mobile network connectivity on Xperia X? After the latest update i did not have to switch to flightmode and back to get network connenction (Normally i do this annoing switching several times per day). It feels like finally this connection issue is gone. I saw some infos about updating ofono and stuff in the update change log...

I'm in Germany T-Mobile user.

Does this have a positive influence on roaming? Or is it stil a mess?

Update 1: now i discovered an interesting behavior: sometimes switching the flightmode on and off causes a shutdown of all running Androidapps. First it goes from no network to 2G then to 4G and then androidapps crash. I have to tap them to restart them again. (The only reason I use android apps is because there is no native threema available and the calendar is not mature enough.)

My situation has not improved what so ever with 3.0.3.9. As described in a previous entry my XA2 cannot connect to any domestic network at all, in areas where providers are sharing 4G network through roaming.

And less than 10% of the Android apps I am using is working using mobile network. Maybe 25% af the Android apps are working using wifi.

So after 6 months, my XA2 is still unusable – I know it’s hard to believe...

It's a good laugh how random these network issues seem to be (or dependent on the phone/sim combination). Since 3.0.3 I also don't have the "sim card removed" notification anymore when entering a roaming network. But on the other hand I did a reflash SF3.0.2->Android->SF3.0.3 before that. So who knows...ah: Xperia X + Vodafone Germany.

Currently using xa2 ultra 3.0.3.9(hossa) haven't had any connectivity issues so far, can't tell about roaming as i haven't used it yet.

The Roaming seems to be massive improved since 3.0.2 (Telekom DE and Roaming in AT and CH). I never had to reboot my phone caused by roaming since then, except once yesterday. But i don't know for what reason.

The general network connection seems to be stabilized as well. But I never had huge problems with that.

Roaming on an XA2 Plus gives issues when driving over boarders (NL «» BE). The phone responds the sim is removed. Which is not the case, for sure. Only a reboot solves it.

Perhaps the, at least with Xperia X, solved roaming problem with 3.0.2 ("Sim-Card Removed") is back with 3.0.3. I'll test that and probably reopen my ticket on zendesk.

Thanks, fridl, as indeed this bug was not present in 3.0.2, but is in 3.0.3. You can add it also occurs on the XA2 series.
