Hello Sailors, right after update of SailfishX to 3.0.3.9 Hossa all pictures taken by camera do not appear in Gallery app. Also cannot be attached to email in native Email app etc.

I have checked them with File Browser and they are normaly stored in directory /home/nemo/Pictures/Camera as before with same permissions. But Gallery, Email and other apps cannot see them. I do not use any SD card.

Has anyone faced this after update? Thank you in advance.

For me the photos taken after the Hossa upgrade were found in the bottom of the Picture feed in reverse order. Jolla Phone 1 no SD card.

For me, this has happened several times after various upgrades. Refresh the tracker database with 'tracker reset -e' and reboot your phone. Then the database should be rebuilt shortly.

Another way: If you have installed the "Sailfish Utilities" you can reset the tracker database using this. To find in Settings after installing the app.

As I already wrote in a similar question, the reset via Sailfish utilities seems broken for me. Can you confirm that it works for you?

Not for sure, since I'm not in a situation I have to reset the tracker database. But I stumbled over this question and I finished just the installation of the Sailfish utilities and saw the possibility to reset the database. So I thought it might be a hint. Now I tried it and it says "OK". But I don't know if that really means success since I don't know how to verify it.

My experience with the use of the Sailfish utilitues was, that the database was cleared, but the rebuilt was not triggered. So, it resulted in an empty gallery for example. How to check if everything went fine: look in the gallery, if you find all your photos and videos. Or start the mediaplayer and look, if all your music is there.
