Normally Hungarian keyboards uses the QWERTZ layout what was inherited from the German layout. But I prefer QWERTY layout, because it is suprisingly works better with the Hungarian language, (we often use letters, like ty and gy, and it is easier and quicker to write them) also it doesn't mess up with the Control + Z / Y on computers. But since I'm using this layout on a PC, I would also use it on a phone too. I could use English layout, but I would loose the ü, ö an ´ keys then.

Edit the /usr/share/maliit/plugins/com/jolla/layouts/hu.qml file.

It is pretty straightforward: just swap the Y and Z lines.

Enable developer mode

Open the terminal

type devel-su

Enter your admin password

run: nano /usr/share/maliit/plugins/com/jolla/layouts/hu.qml

Make your modifications, see https://staffwww.fullcoll.edu/sedwards/Nano/NanoKeyboardCommands.html for shortcuts

Exit and save the file with Ctrl+x

You might need to reload the keyboard in the other tools menu
