Hi sailors,

I noticed the bash command 'clear' isn't working anymore. I used it a lot to clear screen in fingerterm.

Is there a way to add this command again?

Is the bash version at the moment a minimal version?

mine is still there, check your path or try to run: /usr/bin/clear

ctrl + l (lowercase L) also clears the screen

On my J1, my bash version is 3.2.57(1)-release and 'clear' is working for me, you can check your bash version with bash --version

Or reinstall bash itself?, it is available from Jolla's repo (devel-su pkcon search name bash).

I have a Sony Xperia XA2 with Sailfish X installed. The bash version is 3.2.57(1). pkcon search name gives bash-1:3.2.57.jolla.armv7hl but I cannot install this package. Probably because it is installed allready. Can someone sent the clear command to me? Is that an option.

Thanks for the replies sofar!
