The earphone jack - (XA2 single sim) only works once after restart with 3,5 audio cable (both sindes male) in the car. Unplugging and plugging in again does not work, the music comes out of the speakers. Restart required. While plugging in normal earphones does work without problems. The recognission does somehow limit the plugged in devices. On Xperia X this is/was not a problem.

general issues with Sound: Unplugging anything with active musikplay while receiving calls causes also problems. Also the music does not get paused when unplugging or receiving a call.

Update: [3.1.0.11] stil not better. after plugging in there is a clicking sund that is double as fast as a second. and it ckicks for maybe 10 times... then nothing... only phonespeakers active.

Same issue with Xperia X here :-( If I listen to music via earphone, the call is directed to the usual loudspeaker and microhpone doesn't work.

Same issue here on XA2 single sim. When pluggin in the headphones nothing happens. Internal speaker continues working. Restarting with Headphones plugged in didn't help.I tried the solution described here https://together.jolla.com/question/191105/sailfishgemini-external-speaker-still-on-when-headphones-plugged-in/?sort=votes&page=1 and it did't help. But i still have to try this from a root shell.

I discovered, that playing around with the plug (slightly moving out or in sometimes restores the connection) this is somehow weird.... it seems it somehow depends on the plugconstruction, how many layers they have...(with remote, without remote, simple cable...) seems that not every layer gets redirected correctly.

I have same problem with male to rca cable connected to old "PC" speaker. I'm using app in openrepos https://openrepos.net/content/ahappyhuman/audio-output-chooser. More of workaround than real solution, but ok at least for occasional use.

I tryed it, but dont understand how to use it. I tryed all options and - no effect. What need choose to work?

That sounds weird. Wired headset or wired headphone works for me.

Yes, sounds weird, but true. Works fine only after add the module to autorun. But need increase a volume level. But works. It's simple. Like the volume level of the alarm. And don't understand why we have no this in master branch.

I tried with Pioneer and with Kenwood player. Both works only with this module run.

There is a longer story here: https://together.jolla.com/question/197811/35mm-audio-connector-not-working-on-xa2/

There are couple of solutions and ideas there. I use currently two scripts to route audio to speakers or headphones as posted there. I wish I had the time to write a small app or to look at the root cause.
