Hi,

after flashing SFOS X to a Sony XA2 I manageed to import contacts, pictures,... from my old original Jollaphone. But I can not find a way to import calendar data. I extracted a all.ics file from my Jolla phone. Does anyone know how to import this to the XA2 with SFOS X? Thank you very much in advance.

Here are few simple steps 1. Transfer ICS to your new device 2. Open Calendar app 3. Issue following command using terminal or ssh (both require Developer Mode):

dbus-send --print-reply --type=method_call --dest=com.jolla.calendar.ui /com/jolla/calendar/ui com.jolla.calendar.ui.importFile string:/home/nemo/calendar.ics

Note: Step 2 is necessary because of the bug in 3.0.3

@ useretail: I simply clicked on the ICS file that I copied to my XA2 (or rather, which is copied on an USB Stick that I hooked to my XA2) and the Calender app opened itself and asked whether to import the entries from the ICS file.

So for me basicly opening the ICS file on the XA2 was enough to iniate the import. Did I miss something?

@AkiBerlin Yes, it's basically the same operation as the one I mentioned above
