Hi dears!

Please, advise what's happening with flashing? I've passed almost all the steps and am getting the following error:

target reported max download size of 536870912 bytes
sending 'vendor_a' (252 KB) ...

OKAY [ 0.029s]
wirting 'vendor_a'...
FAILED (remote: Flashing is not allowed for partition)
finished. total teim: 0.064s

ERROR: Failed to execute 'fastboot.exe -s CQ300001W4 flash vendor_a vendor.img001'.

FLASHING FAILED

Please go to https://together.jolla.com/ and ask for guidance.

Also, the bootloader is unlocked, be sure. Would be grateful for your advice! Br, Dimitry

Hi,

there is an error when I try to flash vendor img:

'target reported max download size of 536870912 bytes sending 'oem_a' (21088 KB) ... OKAY [ 4.774s] writing 'oem_a' ... FAILED (remote: Flashing is not allowed for partition) finished. total time: 4.784s'

Also, does it matter if I use prototype, not commercial device? Would be grateful for your help. Br, Dimitry

I bought XA2 few months ago, failed to flash on linux and on windows. I sent the device back as it cost me two days of my life. I read a lot about USB3 ports or whatever - simply very annoying.
