Feature request: LED flash frequency indicates charge level

The current LED pattern is counter-intuitive IMHO. As covered here, it should flash when charging and show a dim light when full.
So far so good (this can be done by anyone), but this could do with another feature; have the LED flash slower and slower (i.e. lower flash frequency) when the battery nears fully charged.
This makes it easier to quickly check battery level, plus I think it would look #unlike and pretty cool! I think the Tesla cars do this when charging.
