I have an Android app ( Citrix Secure Mail (Part of Citrix Secure Hub)) and my company enforces a SET screen lock within the Android settings...but here this is set to NONE ( Despite having a lock code in SailFishOS) and is also non clickable / changeable... Hence, the app refuses to start / continue

Is this something that could be changed /added?

sailfish should at least report status of lock to android layer.

options in settings to allow specific details such as numeric only, how many digits and or finger print. so corporate managed profile in android would pass.

Exctamundo...This function is crucial for me personally to make the switch from Android to SailFish, so hopefully it is an easy thing that has been overlooked :)

I tried it with 3.03.10 and with the latest 3.1 but to no avail :(

I just couldn't search&find anything about this subject though...

On 3.1.0 it is not possible for Android Support to see the device lock status of Sailfish, unfortunately.

Correct, I tried this on this version as well....

The question is, is it POSSIBLE or IMPOSSIBLE to implement? If not possible, a technical explanation would be welcome also... If possible, do we have to wait until the next version of the OS or can it be in a smaller patch etc?

So what I actually want to hear is, will it ever be possible or can I just forget about it?

This way, I can continue with my life and won't hold my breath waiting for something that will never happen....

Than it will be money not well spent and will have to revert back to one of the major two other OSses... :(

with Regards, Haldun
