Ability to set a tab in the clock app (default or last used)

Interestingly enough, the clock app is meant to open the "Alarms" tab by default according to this comment in /usr/share/jolla-clock/pages/MainPage.qml:

Funny thing about that: setting currentIndex to 1 fixes the issue (even though the comment claims it won't work).

I don't know. I liked the old interface better, I think. It's not like I set up so many alarms and timer that scrolling through them would become a probkem, really. But when I access the clock, I almost always go there for the timer, as the alarm for my weekly schedule does not change, and I only need to go there when I have to get up early for a trip or something like that. On the other hand, ti start a timer you actually have to manually trigger it, so it makes sense to open the clock on the timer page.
