Although I play only one game in my XA2 and that is Hustle Castle. Some in-game ads can be muted from button in ad itself, but mostly it doesn't have any effect. Even changing volume doesn't have any effect.

not exactly a solution, more a workaround, but:
installing some host-file based add blocker such as Defender will competely remove the ads, even in Android games.
But on the backside, you'll lose the "watch 3 ads to get 10 golden coins" type of mechanics in freemium games.
