Problems installing latest SDK 2.1.1

Hello, I have tried to install to install latest SDK (I did not have any before, it was installed on newly installed CentOS 7 Virtual to VirtualBOX). I am getting error when I try to install the SDK itself.

I have tried to google something, but I have only find something with building apps itself, is there something I can do?

The glibc on CentOS 7 is too old. Based on this question https://stackoverflow.com/questions/44205687/glibcxx-3-4-21-not-found-on-centos-7 I think you might be able to get a newer glibc there quite conveniently, but I would recommend you trying with other OS instead (I understood it so that you are trying in a VM, so it shouldn't be an issue). Consult the wiki section on Supported Environments if you want to be sure.

well CentOS is listed as supported and I am kinda used to it.. but you have pointed me to some direction, my CentOS has 4.8.5 version, I thought I actually have "too new". I will try to get newer one (right now I am on company's network with proxy, it is problematic to connect it to internet) and I will refer here, and mark your answer if it will help :) thank you

Ok i have tried to compile newer version of the 4.xx package from sources, but without luck. So, another question, which Distribution you recommend for Sailfish SDK please?

Added link to wiki page listing supported environments. I use Arch Linux, so you can consider it as well tested as well :)

heh, How could I overlooked it, when I was literally there :) thank you. I have downloaded openSUSE in the meantime, I will try, it seems like it will have the same issue (but I have fast enough Internet without FUP, so who cares :) ) So Ubuntu and possibly its derivates should be OK

Ok, I have installed openSUSE tumbleweed 20190726 snapshot. I had to install kernel-devel for VirtualBox addons, VirtualBox itself and so on. It seems to be fine, so thank you for pointing me out :)
