Update problems on Jolla Tablet

I am unable to install to most recent Sailfish OS 3.1 update on my Jolla Tablet. When I start the installation, the tablet boots immediately to the old version I tried to update several times without success. As a strange side effect, the lock screen (and only the lock screen) is shown with an English localization since my 1st attempt to update.

Would be happy about hints how to solve/debug this issue.

I've fetched my tablet and will check if i get the same issue... once it is charged enough.

I have updated both of my tablets without problems from to at the date when it was released for public.

Did you already try to update via terminal?

I had too little space. Some 690 MB free were required on /. It took me quite som time to free that much.

I was not aware that a manual update via the command line is possible too. Following the instructions given in https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005795474-Installing-an-OS-update-fails-download-worked- I was able to upgrade my tablet successfully.
