If the Russian Aurora OS, which is based on or a fork of Sailfish OS, is supporting a new tablet, is there a change Sailfish will add a new tablet to it's official support list? In my view, this would be an awesome addition. As there was said (in one of the Jolla blog posts) that development with the Russian Aurora OS is shared, it will probably not be to difficult to use the work done there.

A community Sailfish OS port is apparently coming for the PINE64 PinePhone, which has more or less the same hardware as the 10 inch PineTab from the same company. The suggested price seems to be $79.

I think it would be amazing great if Jolla could make a "brand"-agreement with a) INOI or b) pine64 (when product is finished) to sell there products under the Jolla brand with official SailfishOS including Alien Dalvik for the European market. With some good preparation they more or less just need a reseller in EU which handles all the stuff with the customers. I think this would be a great chance for Jolla and "us" customers. But yes, i know, Jolla is not a "hardware" company anymore... (But it would more be a Brand ;-) )

I would be quite content with seeing a logotype when booting.

A Sailfish Tablet would be a nice addition, but to my mind Jolla needs a wider range of devices. With actually two supported and available devices that are at least just low class it's difficult to become a bigger player in the european market. I just don't use Sailfish OS as a daily driver cause if the poor camera (compared to a Lumia 950 the camera is really bad on XA2, and sailfish camera on XA2 ist worse than the Sony android camera of XA2).
