Hi all,

1/ I can circumvent the issue by offering an internet connection to my WIFI enabled TomTom.

2/ To receive traffic information and call related information, TomTom wants to connect the GPS with the android application mydrive. Installation and running of mydrive just works fine. But if you try to connect the phone to the GPS, the GPS shows a QR code that one has to scan with the mydrive application. And there, mydrive says "unsupported action". This way, it is not possible to connect the two.

Has anybody had/solved that issue? P.S. of course I'm also using the world class pure maps app with offline OSM scout server.

Most likely this is not solvable. I see "Unsupported action" with just about every Android app I've played with and attempting to run Tomtom (variations of) I was never successful in doing so.

As I suspected. Thanks for the feedback. I will use some desktop software then and use the tethering instead of the app.

No worries.

As a quick realistic example, I have Whatsapp on my J1 (reluctantly), recently, I got a call from a new number I was expecting, all went well. At the end of the call, I tried to add the new contact within Whatsapp, guess what?.... yep, "Unsupported action" - something as simple as adding a contact cannot be done, so I had to add it via jolla-contacts then look back through Whatsapp, there it was,
