[bug/antifeature] email adds signature/footer spam [answered]

after all those years i just discovered i have been spamming people everytime i send an email with my jolla1 and XA2+. the sailfish email app adds
Sent from my Sailfish device
to the end of every message. the user is never notified, nor is there an option to disable this spam. the user has to know about it and remove it manually!
to jolla, i dont want to spam other people for your product! i dont want personal information to leak to all kinds of people. what os im using is my thing! and who even comes up with such a bullshit idea! did you all use freemailers in the 90s adn thought this kind of spam is normal?
There is indeed an option to remove this. Go to the account setting page and uncheck the signature, or change it.
Besides, I don't like neither that it's on by default…

@Pliocen i know those companies do spam, another reason not to use them! and what im ashamed of and what not id my business. if you want you can put whatever in yout signature...
