For quite some time now (months) I am unable to get a precise location on my Jolla, just the network-based position too inaccurate for navigation, even after hours under open skies.

Referring to previously asked similar questions: CSD check gives it OK. Messwerk app occasionally seems to show valid satellite connection, but just for short timespans, while mostly all satellite indicators show -1

Appreciating any kind of help.

I have the same GPS problem with a Jolla1 with sailfish vers. 3.1.0.11 (Seitseminen). During the past few months it occurred. I do not know when exactly. I do not have a solution, I just can confirm that the problem exists.

works here. it just takes quite a bit of time.

Use the CSD tool and chenk how many satellites it sees.

May be unrelated but I have Sailfish X installed on an Xperia AX, that has horrible GPS positioning, it doesn't work well at all. I wounder if your issue may be related to mine? Sailfish OS 3.1.0.11

If you are not getting the location of that point that you have been searching for a long then there might be few reasons behind that. The GPS location of that point of the location must not be on or the systematic error would be reason behind it.
