Hi, normally the connection type is displayed in the upper right corner of the home screen, like 4G or 3G ... So it shows up on my XA2 Plus, but not on my XA2 (only a symbol that there is a connection). Both have the same SFOS 3.1.0.11, both have the same apps, practically they are identical. The difference is: XA2 Plus connection is O2 XA2 connection is Vodaphone. Could that be the rease why the XA2 does not show 4G, 3G,... ? Or is there something to configure (which I can*t find...). Best regards, Uwe.

There are a couple of things you could try;

Restarting the network and see if the icon comes back (you can restart the network using Sailfish Utilities from Jolla Store) or you can use terminal to enter the following command;

devel-su systemctl restart connman.service

Also, if you navigate to Settings/Cellular network - check out 'Network mode' and switch between the options while seeing if your network icon comes back.
