In the messages (SMS) you see from which SIM-Card you're writing and you can choose to which number of your contact you'd like to send the SMS, but you can't choose ad hoc the SIM-Card from which you want to SEND (or i'm to blind to see).

Using the gesture from top is a nice shortcut, but i often forget to switch the actual used SIM back (e.g. from business to private SIM). So often it happens that my pals get a SMS via the business number or - that's worse - my business contacts get a message from my private number.
I found nothing similar using the search function, does nobody else tap into the same tricky trap?

There is no way to choose from which SIM to send ( or call.!) the way you describe.
Either you define the one SIM from top menu.
Or you set the SIM setting to 'always ask'. Then you can/need to define on each message/call the SIM to be used.

But voting up your request...
