I live in Germany but am currently travelling in the US with my Sony Xperia XA2 dual-sim phone. SIM1 is a prepaid US SIM card, and SIM2 is my usual German SIM card (O2/Fonic). I have set SIM1 for “mobile network” and outgoing phone calls/SMS. In the status line on the main Jolla screen, the icon for SIM1 is the normal signal-strength bar in white but the icon for SIM2 is a blue triangle with the top missing, presumably also an indicator of signal strength. What exactly does the triangle mean? (I know that “white” means “active for outgoing calls/SMS”.)

It means Roaming. And it is not SMS status icon but network signal bar.
