Android store said there was an update for the store itself. Update version 8.1.2.1p1.3. Once that's installed the store gets changed to "Applicaciones Market". After opening this store it asks for a password and username. When not giving those it gives a warning in Spanish and then closes itself.

I rebooted my phone. Uninstalled the Android store via the Jolla store and installed the Android store again. This worked. It still prompts about the new update to 8.1.2.1p1.3 (which I'll now ignore)

Is this related somehow with Accione from Jala?

Please, do not update the Aptoide Store application of your device!

Something weird is going on. Some people have taken an update from aptoide.com. As a result, they have now either "Applicaciones Market" or "Zappy Market" (8.1.2.1p1.3) in their devices.

Note that Jolla Store still has the correct (old) version 1:6.5.3.1 of "Aptoide Store". It is known to work.

And what is the solution?

I have a Store (android logo) installed for Android applications. I installed Store from Jolla store (Jolla logo) with version 1:6.5.3.1. In Store I see the update of Store (older versions present themselves as Zappy market).

I chose to ignore this update. Is that the solution? Or do I have to remove something?

@Max for now, I resorted in installing the Aptoide store app directly from the APK downloaded from their website. Seemed to do the trick for the time being. I can still see a AOSP camera app update in the updates page but haven't yet touched it as I was not sure if it's a relevant update.

Yeah, I updated the Store just there and ended up with the Applicaciones Market in its place. It also "updated" the Aptoide store and has left me with two Aptoide stores. Uninstalling Store and reinstalling it from the Jolla store has restored it to how it was. Definitely some shenanigans going on...
