Still not seeing the 3.2 update on my phone settings->sysetm->updates. (xa2 3.1.0.11) or Jolla store.

Are they still in the process of rolling it out?

I am a free user.

I am now assuming that free users don't get update notification. If this is intentional, then it is just making SFOS look buggy - it should warn not fail silently.

I have now updated using the "sfos-upgrade" tool in openrepos.

Not really an answer, but more to bump up the question.

I'm on an XA2 flashed with SFOS 3.1 Free, added my jolla account, and I've been signed up for Early Access releases for a long time. My X device has been updated for a while now.

I haven't bought a license for the XA2 yet even though there's a special offer, 'cause I'm broke till pay-day, but shouldn't I at least get updates for the Sailfish OS parts?

Similar situation here. I have one device for testing (xperia x) and one for daily use. I had 3.2.0.12 on both, did mess up the test one and reset to factory which brought me back to 3.0.3. It has the free/evaluation version of sfos and it couldn't see any update. I used the commands ssu etc. to upgrade to 3.2.1. The daily Xperia X with licensed sfos saw the update immediately. How comes?

It should've been released to all subscribers by now. Is your Jolla account alright / working properly on your device?

If nothing helps, you can give a try for this command line method. In order for this to work you need to set developer mode (you'll get the Terminal application) on your device and set SSH root password. This password will be asked after prompting devel-su.

devel-su
ssu re 3.2.0.12
version --dup

Now it should find manually any packages to be updated. I'd suggest you give a try for these and/or check your Jolla account for any misbehavior. For instance, try to log out and log back on.

Hopefully this might also work with my problem described here:

Tried this to update my Jolla C - but it always stays at 0%. Used Sailfish Terminal as well as Putty on my Surface Book... Any other hint/solution?

@Cryx@bongo@Sakke Did any of you try the commands suggested? Is it safe?

Tanghus ( 2019-11-14 15:24:36 +0300 )edit

As stated above - didn't work on Jolla C.
