Weird Android Store update? [duplicate]

So far I have not seen a question about this, recently the Android store ("Store") that ships with alien-dalvik started suggesting a new version of "itself" - 8.1.2.1p1.3 "Zappy Market" - the description is in Spanish and all caps.

Could it be the store platform was hacked?

Not sure to which extent this is related to Jolla at all, however since Jolla shipped this "store" I hope they have answers.
