No, there was no usb connection. Neither computer nor power supply. Working on battery. I had also the bug, that the X-10 boots up on connecting the power supply (AC adapter) to the switched off XA-10. Yesterday it was in the end possible to switch off the XA-10, releasing the power button very quick when the shutdown message pops up on the screen.

Maybe because of Defender?

I have the same issue, it's really annoying especially if one wants to swap sim/sd card; my phone is the Xperia 10 dual sim I4193

What is Defender? I can not find this. (my SFOS runs in german language)

I am able to confirm, same behaviour on my fully updated X10. Only way to power it off is by keeping power pressed until it shuts down hard.

Thank you. This works on my X10. Conclusion for other people who have the same problem: To power off the phone - press and hold the power button till the phone switches off and IGNORE the appearing power button on the screen. Keep button pressed till phone switches off. So the phone will not reboot and remain switched off. But there remains one question: Is it a risk to damage the system this way?

Is it a risk to damage the system this way? Why would it damage the system? Isn't it just HW signal for the kernel to shutdown? At least I used to do this with my Jolla Phone and never had any problems with it.

As a temporary solution this can be good, but Jolla should really look into it. I hope in the next update they'll fix many of the small (and big) issues that affect this phone!

Keeping the power button pressed is the equivalent to pulling the power plug on a Linux PC while shutting it down. If the system at the time of power-off has completed all write operations, you are good, if not, you might break your system. It all depends on how well your system is equiped to handle such an incident. Look at Raspberry Pis, their SD card takes power-offs really bad and tend to get damaged during the process. If you mount your sd card read-only, nothing will be damaged and your system will be fine. How Sailfishos handles this type of hard power-off I don't know, but if I really have to power-off, this is currently my only way possible. Maybe one of the devs could explain how SFOS would manage a "power-outage"

Edit: fixed autocorrects

After updating to SFOS 3.3.0.16 this problem still persists. Many other problems are now solved, Thank you Jolla!

Edit June 18.: After a few reboots because of other reasons, power down by long pressing the power button works now.
