Time Picker ("Time Wheel") Has Lost Precision

Before the update to SFOS 3.2.0.12 the time selection was pretty much precise. It correctly jumped almost every time to an even losely selected hour or - with a <5 minutes precision - to the selected minute on the time picker.

This precision is gone after the update to 3.2.0.12 on my Jolla1. For example, I recently tried to select 7 o'clock and the time picker jumped constantly between 10 and 5 for every tap I did on 7.

This is at least a regression. I flagged it as a bug to get more attention by the dev-team, but in my opinion this is a bug, at least compared to the previous SFOS versions.

Clarification after some comments:

The issue is all about tapping. Sliding works fine also on my Jolla1.

But as said above even a lose tap mostly produced a proper time selection before. That is the "precision" I am talking about and that is gone in 3.2.0.12. And yes, minutes tapping works slightly better than hours tapping, but also lost precision as far as I perceive it.

And it's not that I'm saying, it's not possible to set a time. It's about the ease of it, that has decreased. That's why the current behavior is a regression.

Can confirm this, I'm having the same problem with 3.2.0.12 on my Jolla 1.

Cant reproduce it. I can select both hour and minutes precisely.

works fine here on a X too.

works fine on my 5 year old Jolla1.

You must move your thumb/finger in a rotational manner with the wheel, if you are lazy with moving your thumb in a non circular pattern, then the hour 'dot' goes wild for sure, otherwise I cannot reproduce the problem.

I can reproduce it with tapping on my Xperia 10. When I slide my finger I can select time with precision.

@ossi1967, @danfin, @Edz, do you tap or move the finger when selecting?

I can reproduce this issue consistently for the hours by tapping on 3 o'clock, which always jumps to 5 o'clock, also on 3.2.0.12 on a Jolla phone. I cannot reproduce it for the minutes, but I did notice that if you tap on random locations, the minutes will always be a multiple of 5. If you keep tapping in the same locations, you'll get a number in between. This doesn't work for the hours.

There's no real reason to tap when you can just slide, which is both quicker and more precise, and which is the way you're intended to use the feature, but the wrong hours getting selected if you tap is certainly a regression. 3 o'clock is 1,5cm away from 5 o'clock, so it's ridiculous that 5 would be selected when tapping 3. I'm guessing there's some kind of rounding error in the logic that works fine for the minutes, but makes the hours go haywire.

This is a +1 for confirming the bug and a -1 for being a know-it-all claiming the "right" way to use the feature... no offense.

Well, if you consider that "being a know-it-all"...
