I ran onto a telegram SFOS user group and they had this map of all the users in the group https://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/sf-users_271573#3/34.16/24.61

For some reason it helped to provide a sense of kinship or closeness it would be a very minor but nice thing if together.jolla provided an option to register for all of those who would like to be a pin in the map.

Just a minor idea. Sense of world community.

hem... no doubt that is interesting and maybe a good idea at first sight.
Did you spoke with them if they are agree and wanted to have it free for all here ? Underground is just about Privacy

I find it could be really nice if all are conscious of it, and want to be apart explicitly.
The idea may be nice but only if the people are informed and are conscious about what it means and want to be a part of the "fun". I don't find that is a good idea for having shared the link to the world without to get in touch with this group. please check with this community first. then release the link.
If i were in this group and i learnt about it, i'll go crazy (my feeling).

Sorry i delete the link (super! we can get it under the update link anyway, but is little bit hidden). Until you clear it. Or put this idea without this link...

Instead of using exact positions (dots) for each participant it would be possible to represent each user with less accuracy.

As an example, the user could be shown as somewhere within a larger round area.

@cemoi have you even clicked on the original link before you destroyed a valuable input with your vandalism? Do you know how the internet works? Are you one of those who believe in security by obscurity?

Nice idea, but only with people which are well informed about it, are conscious about what it really means. And tell explicitly that they want be a part of it.
