We need an option to set up the panic pin code to wipe LUKS header of encrypted partition and reboot. Also, some official instruction on saving it before-hand, and restoring from recovery.

Also, we need some option (button press sequence) to disable fingerprint reader, like iphones have.

i like that idea! :)

also maybe: set another fingerprint to disable fingerprint reader or delete luks header?

then again, our russian authorities might not agree with such a function ;)

I'd like to have a way to make encrypted partition headers wiped with ability, to backup the headers and restore it after being wiped when safe to it. Another/second PIN code might be a way to trigger the wipe. Russian version does not need to have the feature present or easily accessible. Ordinary Sailfish build is anyway a different one than Aurora.

I'd like the option to require a PIN after using the fingerprint reader, if the phone hasn't been unlocked within the last hour. Or as mentioned a button press sequence to disable the fingerprint reader.

Would this provide some of the functionality you're after? https://github.com/pampanic/pam_panic

I think we need this wipe out PIN to erase whole device. Someone can force us to unlock device with fingertip or face (K.O., handcuffs ,etc.). Full backup may lay on storage or mail server ,ready for use.

First of all we would need a working full restore of the phone. The current backup is quite basic in its functionality (and quite often erratic with failing accounts).
