I have tested my application: http://stud11.technikum-wien.at/~el11b020/QtApp-release.apk But it does not start as expected on my Jolla. Would be great if that could be fixed as it would make cross-platform Android development with this device possible as 2in1 developer device.

EDIT: How can we start android apps using the terminal? Probably the alien-dalvik output would be interesting.

You mean that your App is written in Qt for Android?

Its a pure QML application. It should work on any supported OS like Android and Sailfish OS.

@Strahlex maybe I am missing something but if it can run inside SailfishOS why are you running inside Android?

Because I am developer and I want to test it also for Android. I have no Android device but many users have.

@Sthralex I don't think that Android support in Jolla is the correct testbed for your Android apps to be honest.

I solved this problem by installing the Amazon Kindle app store, and then installing Ministro from it.

No I mean Qt for Android and not necessitas. Qt libs are deployed within the apk.
