Why is deleting easier than keeping? [duplicate]
When I choose to delete an image, text message, note, or whatever in SFOS, there's a graphic counter starting, giving me 5 seconds to regret the delete action. But only if I hit the Cancel-button. If I happen to tap anywhere else in the counter, which I accidentally have several times, the delete action takes immediate effect and the image/text message/note/whatever is GONE! Why? Why is it easier to delete an item than regretting the delete action and keeping it? Wouldn't the other way round be more intuitive, user friendly, logical and all in all better: you cannot hurry the delete action (unless you tap the Delete-button) and tapping anywhere else in the counter cancels the action instead? Or, am I missing something?
