[XA2][bug]No Internet connection in WeChat App after connecting to wifi(from mobile network)

Hi. Recently I found that if I open WeChat app when I'm using mobile network and then I connect to a wifi(in Setting), there would be no Internet connection in WeChat app (In the app I cannot receive or send any message but the app doesn't notice you about there is no Internet connection). In this situation only forcing stop the WeChat or reboot could solve this problem.

WeChat version is 7.0.10 and sailfishos version is 3.2.1.20

Update:Now use the search button in the WeChat to search something will cause this bug, too. I hope it can be fixed in the coming future.

Try Sailfish utilities --> "Restart Networking". Works for me (with other Messengers) and is a quicker than rebooting the phone. But, of course, far from ideal!

Hello. Yes, I agree that, in this situation, only forced WeChat shutdown or reboot can solve this problem. I think the great example of such implementation is https://blablabla-this-looks-like-spam. You can found their code or tutorial on github.
