0% battery shutdown cycle on charge

Battery on XA2 device got discharged to 0% and automatic shutdown. Now every attempt to charge it will start rebooting with message and beep: "battery 0% shutting down soon". There is barely time to unlock device. Is there any way to stop automatic start upon plugin-in charger? The reboot starts even when I leave the charger plugged in. (This is powerful 2A laptop charger), same issues with USB charge.

From power OFF state , once pluged in , as soon as boot splash ; hold down the vol down key . Once the power led turn on , release the key. I am on ported Onyx and for me it swich to act dead charging mode instead of full boot up. Maybe it is common beavior trough out hardwares .Easy to try any way.
