Does it work with other Bluetooth devices? What profiles are supported when used in other devices? My Sony mdr-1000 are a bit quirky sometimes on my computer as they connect in two ways. One way is for music as A2DP and the other as a hands-free device for microphone and a speaker.

I own a Buedio T5S that works well on my Jolla Phone , I am still at OS 2.2 for personal reasons, but I want to report the use of it for over a year without issues. It must be an issue with BlueZ5 , but still you could try a couple of things, like getting another bluetooth headset to work well primarily, deleting and repairing the device, using this https://openrepos.net/content/coanteen/qcommand that has some build in commands to handle your issue with the headset. Best of luck
