Sailfish 3.2.1.20

How to reproduce

  1. Open Browser
  2. Navigate to about:blank
  3. Browser reports it as an insecure page with insecure connection

Sometimes there is no warning (this is correct behavior). But it can be reproduced every time if you set about:blank as your start page.

It's the same for every about: page, e.g. about:about. If you to go any link from about:about page, the warning will disappear.

probably because there is no 'about:blank' page. If you type 'about:about' you get a list of URLs for 'about', I see no 'about:blank' in the list. Your steps to reproduce yield the same results in Google chrome on my pc.

probably because there is no 'about:blank' page

It exists in every browser engine. If you type "about:blank", you get a blank page. If you type "about:whatever", you get an error. See RFC 6694 https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6694

If you type 'about:about'

you'll get the same warning about an insecure page (and in every existing about: page too). Thanks, I will update my report now.
