Sync with CalDAV/CardDAV is broken?

I've used CalDAV and CardDAV before to sync my calander and contacts with Fastmail. However, at some point it stopped working and I couldn't change from the defult "Sync content: Twice a day" to anythingelse than "custom". And, even if I did, it didn't seem to sync if I didn't sync manually. Anyway, I thought I had too many patches installed and removed every patch. Same problem, so I thought maybe there was something else wrong (i've change the default search and DPI over SSH) so I simply reset the device completely. Still, I can't seem to change the CardDAV/CalDAV sync to anything else then "custom" or "Twice a day". If I do, it's back to same old when going back to the settings.
Someone else having similiar problems?
