Hi! After update phone won't boot up. Only Sony logo. Can someone help me.

Sometime ago I got the same issue, I do the following: unplug the USB cable (if plugged), then power off and on.

HI Gyus, I have the same problem after failed update, my XA2 rebootet, but the phone is in airplane mode. I don't have linux PC/laptop to use the workaround below. Could you pklease help ma and explain to me how I can activate teh WiFi an finish the update to 3.3.0.16? Thank you in advance.

had the same - reboot by holding both power and up volume buttons at the same time - holding for 10+ seconds that did the trick for me.

also, you may be in a state where there's no wifi/cellular connection - phone is in airplane mode and that can't be disabled.

try this in terminal:

devel-su

mv /var/cache/zypp /var/cache/zypp-old

ln -s /home/.pk-zypp-dist-upgrade-cache /var/cache/zypp

zypper dup

rm /var/cache/zypp

mv /var/cache/zypp-old /var/cache/zypp

reboot

after the restart, finish the upgrade via version:

devel-su

ssu re 3.3.0.16

version --dup

No help volume up and power button... Phone shakes one time and if I hold more it shakes 3 times. But no boot up.

@cartron This guide worked for my Xperia X. I was able to upgrade after I was stuck in airplane mode.

I am still trying -- zypper dup failed in many steps where it wanted to download material from network -- and as there were no network some things just did not complete...

continued anyway -- after reboot version --duptries to download files from e.g. store-repository.jolla.com and those fails.

As I have USB networking I'll try to route all traffic via that. dns to 1.1.1.1, default route to 192.168.2.13 and then gateway and masquerade setup to the linux box...
