Android apps audio still running in background though app closed

Experienced this with some apps like spotify, youtube inside chrome, etc.

This occurred to me with Zoom. Closing the app did not finish the Zoom meeting - I could at least hear the other participants. Only stopping AD (Android support) did help.
This could be quite problematic in video confernces.

Isn't it just the nature of Android? If you go to Settings/Apps/[Spotify|Youtube|Chrome|Whatever] you can Force stop the app.
