I'm using the Webcat Browser so I do no longer need the original Jolla Browser ... is there a way to uninstall it? [There are more apps that do not have an "X" to delete them, e.g. the Yandex Store]

Edit: If it's correct that there isn't a way to uninstall the browser (as stezz stated below) or at least let the icon disappear if you choose to select another browser as default, this definitely is a feature-request.

Good question. I'm preety sure i was able to uninstall Yandex store, but that broke android support, so i installed it back. Now i can't see that option.

After a factory reset I decided not to install the Android Support anymore and it was a good decision since now I as well don`t have the Yandex store anymore on my phone ;)

@vision: I do not use any Android apps but there are some games I'd like to play ...

I'm guessing there's a way to uninstall it using pkcon, but this would probably be at your own risk, and if you do succeed other things will most likely break, such as opening URLs from other apps. My suggestion is to move the app icons around so that webcat takes the place of the stock browser.

This question is probably a duplicate of this: https://together.jolla.com/question/1836/set-default-browser/

"you cannot"? Please tell me Jolla is not Microsoft. "you shoudn't even try, because XYZ" would be a much more preferable answer.

@fuzzilgoic You can't because we haven't implemented function to switch default browser or a check that you even have a browser present after removal. It's generally also not a good idea to have removable system apps, since having Q/A to test all possible combinations is quite a lot of work.
