An audio annoyance since the very beginning of SailfishX.

Let's take this example: http://bbcwssc.ic.llnwd.net/stream/bbcwssc_mp1_ws-eieuk (BBC World Service radio)

If you try to listen to it from the stock browser, it's OK. But if you try with any radio app (Allradio, Quickradio, Sailwave, Received etc.), there is an irritating audio issue: the sound is continuously affected by annoying hiccups. This is very obvious with XperiaX, much less (but still present) with Jolla phone.

Is there any trick to improve pulseaudio settings to make it working seamlessly like it does within the web browser?

I'm no HiFi connoisseur, but it sounds just fine here. I'm using AllRadio listening the station it finds, not your link. Phone 1 is an XA2 with SFOS 3.3.0.16. Phone 2 is an X with SFOS 3.2.0.12

Sorry, you are right: AllRadio is not affected (except with AAC channels). Please try with Sailwave or Quickradio.

I have now also tested QuickRadio and Sailwave on X and XA2. Once they have buffered, after a few seconds, they all sound as fine as they can on a phone. Could it be a combination of a slow internet connection and different buffering methods used?
