Gmail account not syncing automatically

Anyone else have the same situation : after 3.3 update gmail does not sync automatically?

Sync starts when I enter email+gmail but not automatically.

Can't tell of automatic, but manual sync of Google account takes very long and make Mail app freeze.

There aren't that many sync settings but here you go:

  • Status = Active
  • Sync = Email
  • Sync every 15 minutes
  • Sync Inbox only

Manual update also takes longer time than usual.

and the google calendar does not sync at all with 3.3.0.16
