Hi,

I've switched the location for storing pictures to my SD card and since then can't access pictures in Android apps anymore. The Android gallery does not show the pictures on the SD card as well. In the SFOS Gallery, I can see and access the pictures. I've tried to find a way to adapt the location within the Android settings, but could not find a solution.

Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks a lot in advance!

Did you try resetting your media database? Pictures on sd cards should be visible now in 3.3.0.16.

And @mips_tux kindly explained how to reset the media database below. I cite his advise here:

"For that you must use the "Utilities" app. If you have not this app, you must install it. It is very easy : you will find it in the Jolla Store !"

Thank you mips_tux!

Yes Gallery and Media are now ok. But i think that android apps galleries or files apps (as nautilus) have always no access to the sd card

I use Aliendalvik Control. It might not work without it, although I think it should work with 3.3.0.16.

@WT.Sane No, I just changed the location for the pictures to SD card, that's it. Do I have to reset the media database? If so, how can I do that? I use Aliendalvik Control as well, does that help with this issue?

@mips_tux If this is right, this is the issue. Why is that and is it possible in any way to change this?

@Wolfson May be you have to reset the database. For that you must use the "Utilities" app. If you have not this app, you must install it. It is very easy : you will find it in the Jolla Store !

@mips_tux Thanks a lot! This worked :)

@WT.Sane Could you add the info how to reset the media database (as described by mips_tux) in your answer to make it easier for others with the same issue? I'll then mark it as the correct one ;) Thanks for your help!
