My Xperia X is working quite nicely (5122). The DualSim functionality being critical for me.

This phone has been used constantly since new, first on Android and subsequently SFOS. However, it won't last forever.

Is a faster device on the horizon? The Xperia 10 is not really a hardware upgrade.

still using my jolla 1. no one really needs bigger, better, faster just because.

maybe try to extend phone life instead to ask for the production of more trash.

Well, the internet is getting slower and slower because the webpages are more and more complex, adding heavy processing functionality most people couldn't care less about. Many websites are almost unusable on the SFOS web browser. I mostly use Kiwi Browser under Android because it seems to work better despite it being an Android process.

My phone is into its 4th year of operation. Battery life is declining (I installed "Situations" to manage this better). At some point upgrade becomes a necessity.

Don't know why you don't cosider Xperia 10 as a hardware upgrade. Aren't 8 CPU cores and 4 GB of RAM more than enough?

I bought a used 10 plus recently to overcome the Android 4.4 limit of my Xperia X, and I'm positively surprised by the performance, and by the functionality of the Android 8.1 layer. And I even like the plastic body, it feels at least as good as the metal body of the X. Only downsides for me so far are the larger size, and the lack of a dedicated shutter button.

Finally even the camera is able to produce focused images, which is a contrast to my old X.

DrDweeb: Is this a feature request for SFOS or more like you asking Jolla to officially port another phone, in addition to the ones already available? Please consider removing the feature-request tag if you agree.

Let me see. 4GB is as big as it will ever get until 64bit, so there's that. Would it be discernable in use over 3GB now? Maybe.

I'm not sure that without a 4.4 kernel that all those cores are as useful as you think, and no OOE on the 650 either.

Slightly better performance and RAM to be sure, but not enough to make me want to carry a device that big - I don't carry a handbag.

It seems the XZ2 range have recently been added by the community. Not crazy about the phone design, but it is an upgrade.
