Strange static noise on my Xperia XA2

I tried to update applications on FDroid and somehow FDroid froze up. As explained on one of my posts, closing and reopening the FDroid app won't do anything because Android is very buggy since I have updated to 3.3.0.16. Android apps do not close properly. So FDroid preserved the state, the frozen one. I went to Android App Support and Disabled the Android app support. Then I opened the FDroid again, without first starting back Android app support. Usually, when one opens an Android app the Android app support starts automatically. This time, there was an attempt to start but the phone started to make a static noise that I could stop only by turning the phone off. IMO, the Android support is very buggy in the last iteration. Any suggestion on this issue?
