Has anyone had any success in configuring a Yamaha Musiccast speaker with their controller Android app? The procedure requires me to connect my phone to an ad-hoc network MusicCastSetup that the speaker creates after pressing a certain button. On my Xperia X I can connect to that network with native Sailfish networking rather than with the Android Wi-Fi settings, but then the Android app does not detect my speaker and the procedure does not continue. Some screenshots below. Any ideas? Maybe this requires interacting with Android Wi-Fi settings in a way that is just not supported on Aliendalvik.

I could set up the Yamaha android app with both an Xperia X and X10+ but I did it first a long time ago so maybe it has become more complicated to initiate installation for the first time? It still works for sure. I cannot remember what I did exactly but I do remember that it was easy and flawless. I am using it with a YSP-2700... Sorry for a not very helpful comment :P

@pat_o Thanks! I think the difficult part is getting it to connect to my home wi-fi, since it does not support WPS but only this clunky method. Maybe you first configured it from an Android phone, and then when it's on the network it can be connected also to a Sailfish phone? Do you remember if you connected it to an Android phone on the same network before using a Sailfish one?

I don't have any issues with musiccast on my XperiaX and Xperia10. I had only to connect to my wifi network where is also connected musiccast device, and that was all.
